Badger DAO to Distribute $Badger Tokens to Gitcoin Round 8 Donors

We’re excited to announce that we will be airdropping $Badger to all donors of the Gitcoin grant round 8 which end December 17th 2020.

The Badger DAO is a huge proponent of builders within the DeFi and Web3 community. The ecosystem has to support each other. Web3 can’t exist without ‘em- this is a way of showing gratitude and alignment with the hard working builders.
Badger DAO will distribute 10,000 $Badger to Gitcoin Round 8 donors
Gitcoin is a place for developers to collaborate and monetize their skills while working on open-source projects through bounties and donations.
Gitcoin Round 8 has a matching pool with over $450,000 across 6 categories funded by their new Funders League. They hope to source over $1M in funding and mint more quadratic freelancers than ever before. Round 8 is slated to end on the 17th of December, 2020.
Here are the numbers for the airdrop:
- Each donor will get a minimum of 3 $Badger
- 10,000 total $Badger
- Remaining after minimum will be proportionally distributed by size of donation.
Airdrop will occur after the end of grant round 8 (Dec.17th) and users will be able to claim by coming to https://app.badger.finance/hunt.
